Our Story & Mission as a Vape Shop and Locals

Founded in early 2012 when it was the Volcano Fine Electronic Cigarettes kiosk in Rimrock Mall. At the time, it was the FIRST vape shop to open in Billings Montana. 

In 2017 the business was purchased by Nicholas A local person who believes in standing behind customer service, the knowledge of the vape shop industry and the quality of the products for his Billings community.

In September of 2019 the dream was becoming a reality. We moved into our own location. The store, at 1500 Broadwater Ave., Suite 4, went from 280 to 1500 square feet in a single move. By August of 2020, B-Town Vapes had developed a strong following, loyal customer base, and a distinct hometown atmosphere. Maybe there are other businesses you could support, but we stay true to who we are by giving back to our local communities, developing rapport with our customers, and being kind and knowledgeable in the process

During the summer of 2020, we saw a need for our distant billings heights customers, and knew we should expand. We launched the B-Town Vapes Heights location at 2018 Main St., Unit 5, in August 2020. 

In 2022 we made the decision to expand this location into Unit 6 to offer a much larger selection. But we weren't done yet. In April 2022 we launched a Local B-Town Vapes & Glass Downtown at 2818 3rd Ave. N. We loved our community so much—and still do—that we wanted to be centered right in the heart of our city. 

B-Town Vapes stands for FAMILY, KNOWLEDGE, & QUALITY. Through us, the legacy of Diane Miller, grandmother of CEO Nicholas Tietz, lives on. Diane passed away in 2005 from complications with COPD & Emphysema. Her light, wit, and honesty shines through the doors of B-Town Vapes & Glass to this day. Diane is one of many who lost their battle with COPD and Emphysema due to smoking cigarettes. Our mission is to educate our community thru our vape shop on vaping to reduce these tragic losses. Vaping is a 95% safer alternative than smoking. Every cigarette you don't smoke helps.
